Dr. Stuart Bloom

Dr Stuart Bloom has been a licensed psychotherapist in private practice for over 30 years. During that time he has worked with individuals, couples, and groups specializing in the treatment of anxiety and depression. He has also provided substance abuse help for clients struggling with addiction and dependency issues. Dr Bloom has been an affiliate of the Midwest Centers “Attacking Anxiety and Depression” program Dr Bloom has been the main presenter on group therapy at the annual California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist convention. His workshop, The Sacred Circle, was so popular he was invited back 6 times.
Dr Bloom has been teaching at California State University, Fullerton since 1976. He has taught Theories and Techniques of Counseling and has also taught and supervised students learning to lead addiction rehab therapy groups. Four times he has been given the "Most Inspirational Teacher" award.
Dr Bloom was a colleague of Dr Toni Grant who for years hosted a national radio show and he appeared with her in the movie "The Pursuit of Happiness."
